WPHC winning streak came to an abrupt end against Kenthurst at Dural Oval with a first innings loss.

There were few highlights as the team lost early wickets to post a slender total of 145. Lalin DeSilva top scored with 33 runs in the middle order.

Two wickets at the end of the first day left Kenthurst on 2/25. Scott Henderson bowled a fierce spell using the wickets extra bounce to great use. He finished the game bowling 19 overs 1/49.

Some missed opportunities in the field let the team down. When defending a small total these chances needed to be taken.

The first loss for the season was always going to come sooner or later. There is little time for the boys to dwell with a testing fixture against Galston Glenorie next week.
