Round 7, Day 1 (6th December)
Another wet weekend with all games to be played as 1 day games next week starting at 1.00pm - 40 overs a side.
Personal achievements
There are some really good personal achievements coming up. They are:
+ Alistair Rayment (C2) needs 1 wicket to reach his 150 wicket milestone - bring him into our top 50 bowlers of all time
+ Andrew Mills (B2) is just 12 runs short of 1,000 runs
+ Roger Friend (D1) needs 12 short of his 1,000 runs
+ Andrew Fiedler is 44 short of his 3,000 runs brining him into the top 20 run scorers of all time
+ Sean Doohan is in the same trget - he needs 21 runs to reach his 3,000 runs.

As at the end of Round 6 we are again well placed to figure well in this season's Finals - a long way to go, but promising. Here goes:
A1 Grade 22 points (4th - 5 points off the pace)

B1 35 (1st)
B2 Blue 35 (1st)
B2 Red 21 (5th - 1 point off the pace)
C1 26 (= 2nd)
C2 Blue 30 (=1st)

C3 20 (5th - 5 points off 3rd and 1 from 4th spot)

D2 27 (2nd)
Of our 11 teams we now have 8 teams in the top 4 with everyone else at least in striking in distance.

Christmas break
Christmas is fast approaching. The Seniors break on Saturday the 20th December with a one day game. We start again on Saturday 10th January2004!
