More Information...
The West Pennant Hills Cherrybrook CC was formed in 1930 and is the largest Club in the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai and Hills District Cricket Association – itself being formed in 1926.
The 2008-09 Season finished on the 22nd March 2009 but we start up again with Registration Day on Sunday 26th July 2009 - our 79th season as a Club.
Last season (2008-09), we entered a record 11 teams in A1, A2, Colts (2 Teams), B1, B2 (2 Teams), C2, C3, D1 and D2 Grades. We had 8 Teams make it to the Semi Finals with 3 making it through to the Final. Congratulations to A2 and C2 Grades who won their Premierships and to D2 who were Runners-up. We also won the Club Championship for a record 6th successive year.
Competition is played from A1 Grade (good quality of cricket played on excellent turf wickets) to D2 grade – competitive cricket played on hard wickets. We also participate in a turf based Colts competition where our best U19 players participate.
