Congratulations on winning our first game.

Playing Manly at James Henty WPHCCC won the toss and bowled. Manly were a couple of batsman short and some excellent bowling and fielding saw us bowl them out for 66.

Natasha with 2-11 led the way with two wickets in her first over. The first a good catch by Dileesha behind the stumps, then the second to Jessica at square leg. Rachael chipped in with 1-8 with a great caught and bowled. Michaella 1-7 and Nikki 1-8 both bowled took their first wickets for the season.

Against good bowling Jessica (20 n.o) and Rachael (14 n.o.) opened the batting and were unbeaten on 67 when the game was called off. They batted patiently at first before showing great understanding with their running between wickets.
