At last after more than 2 months of Christmas holidays and rain interruptions we finally had a full game today and the boys proved that they have not lost their winning streak.

Sky Team 56 for 3 beat Normo-Warra-Blue 64 for 5.

Sky team caption Aaron lost the toss and was offered to bat first.

Opening pair of Thushira and Brendon made a solid foundation of 21 runs between them and followed by Leon and Aaron with 14 and Dharshan and Sachin (only pair not to loose their wicket) made 12 and Finally Josh and Nam made 9 to reach the score of 56 for 3.

Thushira and Brendan hit a boundary each and Leon hit 2 boundaries in their score.

Nam and Leon opened the bowling attack and only conceded 4 runs between them and followed by Brendan and Dharshan with 16 and Thushira and Sachin with 25 and finally Josh and Aaron with 19 runs. Norma Warra- Blue scored 64 for 5 wickets.

Blue team performed well in all aspects of the game but their bowling and their fielding won the match for them. A good catch and a stumping by Leon and a high catch by Brendan to name a few highlights of the Sky team’s fielding.

Match was umpired by Gerard Plummer for Sky Team.

Thanks to Coach Vishnu for his commitment and thanks for all the parents who helped with the kids on that day.
