Seniors
Thoughts of things grand
Got to hand it to Ben McNamara, star B2 opening bowler. While updating himself with all things West Penno on the website in Thailand, the tearaway noticed that he had taken 5 catches so far this season. To get in early on the Player of the Year Points for the match, Ben allocated the points himself “I'm giving myself 3 points, 2 points and one point cause I'm drunk and my name appeared on the club website for taking 5 catches."
Such enthusiasm.
Best debut of the season
The best debut performance in many a year came from Peter Flook (U16) playing C3 last match. Peter bowled 2.5 overs and took 5/4 Vs Kenthurst at Holland Road including their gun bat. Well done Peter.
Spare a thought for Andrew Fiedler (C3 Captain) who has been playing for 28 years to get his best bowling figures of 4/7 only to be pipped for match honours in 2.5 overs of inspired bowling in a debut performance.

In Seniors, the Player of the Year is determined by a 3-2-1 points allocation at the end of each match. Points at the end of Round 8 are:
