Cricket NSW Level 1 Accreditation
Cricket NSW is running a Level 1 Coaching Course in September. Over the last few years we have run a Level 1 programme at Edward Bennett Oval and now have 29 qualified Level 1 coaches. It is an excellent course and is highly recommended.
When: Sunday 13th September 2009
Where: Montview Oval, Hornsby Heights
Time: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
Cost: $Nil if you coach a WPHC team otherwise $120 / person.
There are still some spots available so if you want to get this valuable qualification please move quickly. The only condition we apply is that if you commit to go and don't turn-up then we ask for the cost to be reimbursed which is only fair.
If you are interested then please get back to Ross Anderson (wisden@bigpond.com) your name and full contact details. There are still spots available but please move quickly if you are interested.
Cricket Wisdom
This one is courtesy of Greg Fiedler:
The first testicular guard was used in cricket in 1874 and the first helmet was used in 1974. It took 100 years for men to realise that the brain is also important.
