The 2007-08 season is now over but there is still a lot happening:

Dominic Thornely
Congratulations to Dom (our Club Ambassador) who heads off this weekend to play in the IPL Twenty/20 competition playing alongside Sachin Tendulkar and heaps of other big name players. Well done mate on this fantastic achievement.

Lisa Sthalekar
Lisa is the Australian Women’s Vice Captain and is a West Penno girl having played with the Junior boys from the U10’s through to the U16’s.

Lisa won the Belinda Clark Medal for the second year in a row – a fantastic achievement.

Seniors Presentation Night
It’s coming up fast – our Seniors Presentation Night. These nights just get bigger and are the highlight of the season. Details are:
• When: Friday 9th May
• Where: Castle Hill RSL
• Time: 7.30 pm for 7.45 pm start
• Cost: $40 per person for a 3 good course meal and a great night.

Who can come along
Everyone and anyone. We usually fill the room with players, parents, girl friends and partners so the more the better

We need to finalise number shortly so your captain will be in touch with you so stay tuned.

Bradman Oval
It is happening. We have been trying to get a game at Bradman Oval for 3 years but keep being washed out. Fingers crossed this year. It looks like we have been successful in booking Sunday 23rd November. Teams will be selected later in the year but those lucky enough to be invited to play will be those folk who have contributed through their volunteer work over the many years. Stay tuned for more information.

Next season
So you thought that we were in for a long break before the next season – think again. How about these for some fast approaching dates:
• Registration Day Sunday 27th July (3 and a half months away)
• 1st Seniors Practice Saturday 2nd August
• 1st Game – Juniors and Seniors Saturday 6th September.
